I remember your smile,
As thought melted into clarity.
I remember your voice,
Soft with understanding,
I remember your strength,
Sheathed in humility.
But most of all I miss your kindness,
Offering comfort when times were hard.

That’s lovely Anna.
I love your poems. You’re inspiring me to write some of my own. Thank you.
Thank you for a lovely message. Really I like to think I am a wordsmith rather than a poet, not so lofty in its sentiments. The important thing to discover is that the words do their work – otherwise I wouldn’t feel so compelled to write.
One year since he died and we miss him more than ever. I don’t think we expected to grow old without him.
